Brown Nosing

Brown Nosing refers to a patient who is overtly friendly to their superiors to win their approval for personal gain.

Now that the semester has simmered down and I am soon to be an OCAD graduate, I think it's time we updated the blog :) This piece has to be my #1 favorite now! This particular piece came together so quickly in terms of concept and final outcome. I've been experimenting with a more simple work method that begins as basic black and white solids to get a coherent tonal range, then adding color overlays. It took me a while to get accustom to, but I think I have finally stumbled upon a work method I am pleased with. Keep a watchful eye on the horizon because I got lot more stuff to share real soon!
